Companza was built for one reason: Connecticut's new homemaker-companion training law.
When Public Act 26-50 was signed in May 2026, more than a thousand Connecticut agencies — most of them small, local businesses — inherited a new compliance obligation: eight hours of approved training per caregiver, annual continuing education, and a paper trail the state can audit. The big national training platforms weren't built for this law. We are.
Our curriculum is being mapped module-by-module to the seven topics in PA 26-50 §1(b) — not a generic national course with a Connecticut label.

The law makes training portable between agencies for three years. We're building that into the product: every caregiver will earn a verified, portable credential with a unique ID that any employer can confirm.
