About Companza
Companza is the records platform for home care agencies. We keep each caregiver's training documents tied to the right person, course, and date, so the agency can see what is on file and produce its records when asked.
The training rules change from state to state. Connecticut is preparing an approved-program list and requires signed completion forms and an annual attestation. Pennsylvania requires documented competency reviews in each worker's file. Colorado gives direct care workers a free state course, while employers must collect and keep the completion certificate. The course is only part of the job; the agency still needs the record.
Keep certificates and completion dates against the worker, not scattered across inboxes and folders.
For Connecticut, use a state portal if one is offered, an approved provider, or training that meets the applicable rule. In Colorado, the state provides the Know Your Rights course. Companza keeps the agency's records; it does not provide either state course.
Track each caregiver's training deadlines and see which documents are on file. Export the records when the agency needs them.
We record what was filed, by whom, and when. We do not authenticate certificates issued by someone else. Outside certificates uploaded by one agency do not transfer to another agency through Companza.
